Hitman's Business Card by kohashu Hitman's Business Card by kohashu
I decided to change things from all the drawings.

This was part of an assignment I had back in college. The objective was to design a business card to an unusual occupation and one of them I chose was for a Hitman (no relation to the game) with the other being Grimm & Ribbs seen here [link] . The idea was that the recipient would fill out the target's description on the back and then email the agent back. I know it sounds a little oxymoronic, but that was kinda the nature of the exercise.

The Specs: The main title typography was designed by me so as to fit the crosshairs but the rest is from a font call Agent. The print was made on construction paper that was silver on both sides. In the end I used laminate to give it durability.

For the last note, The photo shown isn't of two cards but one. The photo is taken twice (one card: front and back) and then put together in Photoshop.

Used Photoshop CS4 & InDesignCS4
Printed and lamented on silver paper.

Really long description, but I liked the project.

This is awesome, I somehow came across it while in my Typography class. I wish we had an assignment like that. Good work!

Brilliant execution. I'm inspired to actually get around to working on an idea I had. Crash course goes: abusive and chaotic regime of militias in control without centralized power, so when people are killed each group leaves a sort of death card on the body to let others know who killed them and why. Original idea came from the violence in Colombia before the government was really established, but they did worse things than leave cards...

Thanks! :D I didn't know they did that in Colombia. That kinda reminds me of the drug war going on in Mexico. It's a really tragic system we live in.

Yea, but since Colombia bounced back maybe Mexico will soon, too.

Perhaps. There's no telling what unforeseen occurrence could potentially change things. :)
