My first painting of any kind in 2 years. A friend of mine used to tease me for not liking to paint. Unlike pencil and pixels, real paint seems to have a mind of its own sometimes. For the past month this seemed to be a long process of carving, burning, painting, and then carving again. I’m not sure how many times the thought of my beloved Ctrl+Z ran through my mind. But I couldn’t have done it any other way. I kinda like this 3-D feeling; that foam can actually feel like rock.

This is my first time making a relief and I’m no Bob Ross when it comes to painting, so I hope the next relief will turn out better. Maybe I’ll try Hokusai’s Wave.

Figured I'd tweak this one. Reduced the border and corrected some colors.
